THE CALM IN BETWEEN CATWALKS
A calm day, recharging the batteries after five days non-stop of London Fashion Week, and getting ready to start all over again tomorrow, this time in Milan.
It will be a different vibe. New faces and some known ones, too. However having just checked the weather (I probably shouldn't have done it) I learned that one thing will be exactly the same: the weather. Raining at times, mostly cold. Just like London has been lately.
Lets the fashion warm us all with creativity, then.

LE KILT AT UNION CLUB
Sometimes surprises comes in double takes. I wasn’t aware of Le Kilt until last week. Nor their venue of choice to showcase its AW16 collection during the London Fashion Week.
So it was refreshing to see Samantha McCoach's work for the label, a feminine and modern take on traditional Scottish craft that could easily be part of female wardrobes ready to successfully hit the streets.
The Union Club, a private members club in a listed Georgian town house launched in early 90s, in Soho, added charm to the presentation featuring well-crafted skirts, delicate loose tops and kilts. Lots of them.
